![]() ![]() The thing about North Carolina is that her learning curve is steep, could be 70-100 games for many people. ![]() I expect now that CVs are returning and torps have been buffed, her damage numbers will fall slightly. Unfortunately Iowa appears in high tiers with extremely competent CV commanders wielding boss airplanes, and you'll get killed early and often by them. I am still learning how to play her, but as long as you can stay prow on you will deal incredible amounts of damage in Iowa, even with just 6 shells. Iowa is much better than North Carolina, and well worth getting. I'll actually be able to adapt quite well, this is one of the reasons I free XP'd Fusou to get to Nagato, because Fusou would've just dulled my aim. That way I won't have to adapt from a different play-style. This is pretty much why I'll skip the whole line up to NC. Like the new Star Wars movie, I know the only reason I'm excited about Iowa is because I WANT to be excited about Iowa, not because it's actually going to be good. ![]() She'll swat carrier air groups right out of the sky if they're silly enough to attack you, but even TB torpedoes laugh at your sub-par torpedo bulge. Colorado was such a beast, NC took a huge learning curve to adjust to and I've never been able to get gud at her, as my abysmal win rate in her attests. ![]() NC can't gunfight, she can't snipe, she doesn't sink ships for me, I never feel confident in her against anything that isn't a cruiser. I am about ready to unlock Iowa (Iowa native, gotta have the Big Stick) but the second that happens I think I'm taking a long hiatus from US BBs or re-buying Lolorado. ![]()
